Today, Sun Microsystems announced that they have acquired the JRuby development team. Both Charles Nutter and Thomas Enebo have joined Sun as full-time employees to continue their excellent work on JRuby. Congratulations, guys – isn’t it great to be able to work full time on what you love doing? Kathy Sierra summed it up today with this diagram (click on the picture to see her blog entry):
