One of the really great things about Lang .Net last week was getting everyone working on Ruby and .NET integration in the same room:

That’s Wilco Bauwer (IronRuby), me, and John Gough (Ruby.NET).

On Wednesday, we sat in a room along with Jim Hugunin and Martin Maly (IronPython) and Paul Vick (VB) and had a great discussion about tough interop problems. The challenging ones were interface implementation and value types, and we walked away with a good understanding on how to do those things better.

What’s really great about the Iron Python project is the amount of work that they have done to pave the way for other dynamic language implementors / integrators. Thanks for making this happen!
